When I recently upgraded from my old and trusty iPhone 6s Plus to the iPhone 11, I was a bit worried about the lack of the headphone jack. I have quite a number of microphones which I regularly use – and which I used to plug directly into the headphone jack. No adapter needed. And I must say: I don’t like adapters. They always carry the risk of unwanted noise.
So, I tested my microphones with my new iPhone 11 – and was quite surprised what I found out:
The next thing I wanted to check out was the stabilizer of the native camera app. I took the phone and my bike and cycled down a hill. It was quite a bumpy ride, but the stabilizer did a remarkable job. As you can watch in this video:
The only thing I don’t understand is why there are so many messy artifacts in the video. Is this due to the stabilizer? Then it would render that function useless. Do you have any idea? Then, please, leave your note in the comments. Thx.
